Application Research of Heavy Component Separation and Pulping Machine in Organic Refuse Disposal

Abstract: Relying on Liyang Tianshan municipal solid waste(MSW)disposal project of Sinoma-Environment, the raw materials was organic waste that mechanically separated from MSW, and a pilot test was carried out with the organic waste heavy component separation and pulping machine, and the influence of different operating parameters on the operation effect of the equipment was analyzed. The results showed that the equipment could realize the separation of heavy component from organic refuse, and the accepts could meet the technical requirements of CSTR. Through comparative tests, it was found that the best operating parameters were feeding TS of 8%~10%, rotation speed of 150 r/min, backwash water flow of 20 L/s. Under these operating parameters, a good separation of the heavy component could be achieved. Most of the heavy component separated from the waste were not broken, with the organic matter content less than 5% and the moisture content less than 5%, which could be used for subgrade, landfill or raw materials used for cement production. When the pulping time was less than five minutes, the TS in the organic slurry was 4%~6%,VS/TS was more than 60%, and the COD was more than 100 000 mg/L, which met the feed requirements of CSTR anaerobic reactor. The inorganic content of light slag was less than 10%, after dehydration, the calorific value was 8 372~10 465 kJ/kg, which could disposed into the incinerator.
