Open Access Statement

1. Open Access

Environmental Sanitation Engineering (hereinafter referred to as "the Journal") is an open access journal. Once all submitted manuscripts are publicly published, the full texts can be permanently and freely accessed through the official website of the Journal (https://www.srhj.org.cn). Papers published since 2023 can all be accessed free of charge.

The Journal operates under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). Users may obtain, reproduce, and disseminate published articles with proper attribution, but commercial use is prohibited. 2. Peer Review

The Journal follows a triple-review and triple-proofreading policy with single?blind peer review, and charges a review fee of 240 RMB per article. The average peer review time is 45 days, and the average publication time is 27 weeks.

(1) Initial Review: Manuscripts are first evaluated by the editorial office. And the plagiarism detection on the manuscript is performed. Those outside the Journal’s scope or with obvious defects will be rejected at this stage.

(2) Peer Review: The Journal implements single-blind peer review, and invites at least three reviewers for external review of each paper. Reviewers must provide objective and impartial comments, have no conflicts of interest with the authors or funding bodies, and maintain confidentiality of the manuscript and related information.

(3) Associate Editors Re-evaluation and Editor-in-Chief Final Decision: The Associate Editors review the peer review comments and then the Editor-in-Chief conducts the final review. Finally, editor provides authors with a comprehensive assessment based on the final decision.

3. Author Rights

When submitting a manuscript, the author needs to sign the "Paper Copyright Transfer Agreement" and transfer the copyright of the paper, including but not limited to compilation rights, translation rights, reproduction rights, distribution rights, information network dissemination rights, the right to use large model data training, and the sub-licensing of the above rights, to the editorial department of Environmental Sanitation Engineering.

4. Publication Expenses

To support open access publishing, The Journal charges Article Publishing Charge. The fee standard is 600 RMB per page, and generally does not exceed 9000 RMB per article. The review fee is 240 yuan per article.The author's copyright transfer fee and the Journal's remuneration will be paid in a lump sum by the editorial department.
