As the only key magazine of China technology in environmental sanitation industry, Environmental Sanitation Engineering has been taking the purpose of promoting scientific and technological innovation, engineering application and serving industry in its first 30 years. It has actively explored and practiced new ideas and methods in running the journal and become an important display platform for the development of science and technology in the industry and a good teacher and friend for scientific and technological personnel.

In order to show the development of waste incineration power generation in the environmental sanitation industry over the past 30 years, deeply integrate the latest research progress of relevant technology and operation management, fully report the comprehensive results with both academic and application value and help improve the level of environmental sanitation industry talents, Environmental Sanitation Engineering plans to jointly publish 2023 Special Issue of Waste Incineration with Chinese leading enterprise in incineration field.
The guest editor of this special issue is Li Xiaodong, who is deputy editor of Environmental Sanitation Engineering and professor of Zhejiang University.
