Abstract: In the past 30 years， China’s waste to energy policies could be divided into comprehensive， finance and taxation， planning and construction， pollution control and supervision categories. In terms of time， it could be divided into preliminary exploration stage before 2000， trial improvement stage from 2010 to 2011， and rapid development stage from 2011 to now. The study made a systematic review and analysis of the important policies in chronological order， and the important policies were reviewed and analyzed systematically. Key points were compared between the management measures for the renewable energy price supplementary subsidy fund of 2012 edition and 2020 edition. Finally， some suggestions such as financial and tax initiatives， pollution control supervision and collaborative innovation were put forward.
