PFAS全氟和多氟烷基物per- and polyfluoroalkyl substancesPFAS作为一种在日常生活中频繁接触且受到高度关注的化合物,其对人体潜在的负面影响引起了广泛关注。本文旨在综述美国环保署(US EPA) PFAS混合物非致癌健康风险评估方法的最新研究进展,重点介绍混合物基准剂量法mixture benchmark doseM-BMD的研究进展, M-BMD方法能够更精确地描述PFAS混合物暴露剂量与健康效应之间的关系,根据混合物组分不同健康效应的剂量反应数据,选择最具代表性的效应终点,M-BMD也可以与其他风险评估方法结合使用,形成更全面的评估体系,提高PFAS混合物非致癌健康风险评估结果的准确性和可靠性。此外,通过与危害指数法(hazard indexHI)、相对效能因子法(relative potency factorRPF对比阐述了M-BMD方法在PFAS混合物健康风险评估优势与不足,并针对不足之处提出未来研究方向建议,以期为PFAS的健康风险评估提供更加科学的理论依据。

Abstract:

PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are compounds that are frequently exposed to and highly concerned in daily life, and their potential negative impact on the human body has attracted widespread attention. This article aims to review the latest research progress of the non-carcinogenic health risk assessment methods of PFAS mixtures by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), focusing on the research progress of the mixture benchmark dose method (M-BMD). The M-BMD method can more accurately describe the relationship between the exposure dose and health effects of PFAS mixtures. According to the dose-response data of different health effects of the mixture components, the most representative effect endpoint is selected. M-BMD can also be used in combination with other risk assessment methods to form a more comprehensive assessment system and improve the accuracy and reliability of the non-carcinogenic health risk assessment results of PFAS mixtures. In addition, by comparing with the hazard index method (HI) and the relative potency factorrelative effectiveness factor method (RPF), the advantages and disadvantages of the M-BMD method in the health risk assessment of PFAS mixtures are explained, and suggestions for future research directions are proposed for the shortcomings, in order to provide a more scientific theoretical basis for the health risk assessment of PFAS.
